The Bodossaki Foundation and Fondation CHANEL are working together to promote gender equality and capacity building for women in Greece.
The partnership works to support fifteen selected small and medium-sized Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) which are active in these areas. As part of its contribution to the project, Social Dynamo, the NGO Hub of the Bodossaki Foundation, designs and implements a personalised five-month Capacity Building Programme.
The support offered also includes the subsidising of organisations participating in the programme with small-scale donations of up to €10,000, to help them carry out development projects within their organisations, as well as projects for promoting gender equality and/or the empowerment of women.
The aim is to encourage the development of smaller-scale organisations throughout the country, so they are in a position to maximise the impact of their work and become more sustainable themselves. The Capacity Development Programme will provide participating organisations with access to a wide range of services, including consulting on training, mentoring, coaching, legal and financial issues.
