SIX-MONTH THEMED CAPACITY BUILDING PROGRAMMES
Social Dynamo also offers six-month Capacity Building Programmes which are designed for Civil Society Organisations wishing to receive support for the next phase of their NGO’s development and maximise their social impact. These programmes are usually organised according to particular themes: in other words, they are designed for organisations which are keen to address common challenges (e.g. environmental issues) in order to encourage collaboration, exchanges of ideas regarding best practice, and networking.
As part of the upgrading of its operation, each Civil Society organisation taking part in the Social Dynamo Capacity building Programme will be provided with the following free of charge:
– Training, through participation in a programme of seminars and workshops adapted to the needs and priorities of participating groups and organisations.
– Professional support, adapted to each six-month programme, which may include consulting services from experienced professionals, the possibility of team mentoring, and personalised coaching (for members of organisations/groups who meet specific criteria) given by the Solidarity Coaching programme of the Hellenic Coaching Association.
– Opportunities for networking, through participation in community development and networking activities.

CAPACITY BUILDING AS PART OF A GRANT
Social Dynamo develops and provides programmes offering specialised capacity building services as part of the third party grants programmes it manages. These specialised capacity building programmes are designed to address the diagnosed needs of participating organisations and aim to expand the impact of the grants by providing educational and professional support services which the specific group of grantee organisations need in order to achieve their goals.

SMALL GRANTS AS A MEANS OF CAPACITY BUILDING
In adopting international trends and best practice, Social Dynamo develops organisational capacity building programmes in which funding is an essential factor. These programmes meet the needs of organisations in a comprehensive and flexible fashion, in combination with the services provided by Social Dynamo.
